The various "date codes" on Rozenburg (1883-1917) plateel; page 4 / 5
From June 1893 until December 1900 "Rozenburg + the stork" as their mark.
Furthermore the cityname; as: "den Haag" or "Den Haag" + introduction of a year sign.
Note:
On the left of the factory mark, the letters L or M, and special markings, indicate the (production) year codes.
In the bottom right corner of the mark you should also find the decorators signature.
Furthermore the factory started making use of an "stamp", instead of the hand painted mark, around 1900.
Accordingly the numerals, present in such pieces, state its order number.
As mentioned before the factory also used the symbol of a "window" from 15 August 1896 onwards.
This symbol tells us that the piece was given approval by its head of painting, D.P.J. de Ruiter.
